Landlines? Keep or Not

We all use out cell phones for every call we get and make and so we wonder about that landline that never seems to ring anymore. Should it be kept or let it go? This is the questions plaguing many of us today when cutting back anywhere possible is the best thing to do.
The International Telecommunication Union tells us that almost 43% of all phones in America are our faithful companion, the cell phone. Since the year 2000, the FCC has found that the use of landlines has dropped by 37%. With the plan today that have free weekends and nights, why keep that old landline and without this little feature, the cell phone bill would be astronomically high. But there are always pros and cons to everything.
Letting go of the landline will: give you one less bill each month and if you move you phone number stays the same. The cons are: some areas still have no reception, you are not listed in the phone book, and you could use more minutes than you plan allows. If you love your cell phone and are rarely home anyway, go ahead and loose that landline.
